I just saw this product announcement in an email. I don't know if it helps but... It's an IC, so someone with some KNOWLEDGE would have to build around it. But it tunes 48Mhz -> 1GHz and no ~30V Power supply needed. http://www.microtune.com/products/MT2121.html
