Nothing going on in the logs when i run the code. But
the usb allocates a new address to the usb (old
adress+1) upon reconnecting the power cable.
Here are a few more observations i made:
When i do a 'lsusb' upon system restart, I get the
usrp on Bus 1 and device 2 after i force the
bitstream. Now, when i disconnect and reconnect the
power, the device changes to 3 with default
permissions of '-rw-rw-r--' and the device address
increments upon further reconnects. As a test, here i
forced the bitstream (so that the examples work) and
then changed the permission by 'chmod 000 -R
/proc/bus/usb/001/*'. After this, no usrp found as
expected. Changed back to 'chmod 777 -R
/proc/bus/usb/001/*' and it works again.
So, look like it does not stabilize on the device
address after power reconnect. The changing of
permissions (777) is not effected as it is creating a
new mount with a new address at each reconnect with
default permissions(664).
Still experimenting !
