Those equalizers are designed for narrowband (or non multi carrier)
systems and are not (necessarily or directly) appropriate for OFDM.
Best look at the OFDM receiver (gr-digital/examples/ofdm/rx_ofdm.grc)
for the equalizer structure used there.
