it does compile and run quite right. in fact gnustep does compile until
NSData.m (for example NSAttributedString, NSBundle, NSArchiver, ...).
i have now created a bug report with bugzilla.redhat.com and i hope to
hear from redhat next week what they think about. if i do not get a
response i will try gnu.org/software/gcc/bugs.html directly (but redhat
itself and not the gcc maintainers are committed to support the gcc-2.96
snapshot in rh 7.0 - but of course since redhat bought cygnus it is a
little difficult to differentiate).
