The method names all begin with low case. It's [NSMenu new].

Strange, my $GNUSTEP_SYSTEM_ROOT/Makefiles/common.make contains a
OBJCFLAGS=-Wno-import to avoid this (fascist) warning. Are you using
the latest version of GNUstep?
