I build an installed GNUstep and JIGS on my Linux RedHat 7.2. Now I ran
into some problems with
JIGS. I wanted to try the jigs examples provided in
"jigs-1.5.4/Testing/Java/". The test from the "Base/"
sub-directory run without problem but the test from "Gui/" sub-directory
gave me following:
[jan@magic Gui]$ java NSApplicationTest Error
(objc-load):/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.soh: shared object not open
Apr 28 14:20:20 java[10063] No local time zone specified.
Apr 28 14:20:20 java[10063] Using time zone with absolute offset 0.
Apr 28 14:20:20 java[10063] No classes in bundle
Apr 28 14:20:20 java[10063] NSApplication.m:200 Assertion failed in
initialize_gnustep_backend. Can't load backend bundle
Exception in thread "main"
gnu.gnustep.base.NSException(NSInternalInconsistencyException):NSApplication.m:200
Assertion failed in initialize_gnustep_backend. Can't load backend bundle
at gnu.gnustep.gui.NSApplication.sharedApplication(Native Method)
at NSApplicationTest.main(NSApplicationTest.java:38)
[jan@magic Gui]$
Though, I though something is wrong with my GNUstep installation and I
rebuild everything from source but
that doesn't helped.
I build and installed Gorm because I wanted to know if the "native" objc
gui application are working.
Gorm is working nicely.
Any hints ? What should I try now ?
Regards,
Jan
