Building in a separate build directory

Hi all,

I am coming from MacOSX and am used to build all my stuff in /Build/.... 
Keeping the object files and the sources separated is convenient for 
backup purposes. Moreover it accelerates the builds if the sources are 
stored on an NFS server.

How can I tell the GNUstep make package to write the object files into a 
separate directory outside of the sources folder?
