FYI, If you are having problems with ffcall, or you just want to try
something different, you can try using the libffi library.
libffi comes with gcc 3.X, but it is not (AFAIK) installed by default,
so you would have to build your own version of gcc, then go into the
directory where libffi was built, and type 'make install' (I did this a
long time ago, so I don't remember the exact things you need to do).
Then configure gnustep-base like this:
./configure --enable-libffi
I've been using it for almost 6 months now (and about two months since I
last fixed a bug for it). There is still a minor memory leak when
passing structures around via invocations. I'd recommend getting
gnustep-base from CVS as that has all the bug fixes in it.
