Multiple Document Interfaces

Is there any push to develop and integrate a MDI (Multiple Document
Interface) framework into GNUStep. I have been a fan of MDI and
greatly miss it. I find managing multiple windows for a single app
such as a programmers editor painful.

I know that Apple has not really built anything of yet as can be seen
by the many non-MDI apps on Apple.

Personally, I think that Eclipse (Java IDE) has the best MDI framework
yet and should be used a design prototype for any people developing
such frameworks. Those guy's spent alot of time and hit the nail
firmly on the head.

Patiently waiting for GNUStep to evolve further and praying to be able
to use Obj-C (with Java and Python) one of these days,
