Yes, for you maybe ;-)
But different users have different uhm environments. Eg. I'm running a(n
unreleased, as of yet) GNUstep-based window manager that is sortof 'coupled'
with a(n unreleased, as of yet) workspace manager. The workspace manager
doesn't have an "Exit" menu entry, but "Log Out" instead, that completely
logs off a user (either going back to the console, or to XDM).
So I do need a way of shutting down other GNUstep-related applications in a
clean way...
