It is on the works, I have requested this feature to Gregory since months. It is not just a Gorm shortcoming, but a gui one too: if you use nib files instead of corm files created on mac, the stand alone view doesn't work properly. Some prorgess had been made this summer but it is not enough.

Could you elaborate on this (I mean, what does not work yet)?
I gave it a quick try with a IB generated nib file and things
worked fine -- apart from the general problem with using Mac nib
files under GNUstep: The geometry of all objects is larger and some
background colors are wrong. In particular, I have a NSTableView
in that nib and it gets a white background, apparently because
that's the default in Aqua but nevertheless gets encoded explicitly
in the nib. Since GNUstep uses a grey background and colors selected
lines white it becomes, errr, difficult to identify the selected lines.
That said, this looks like a principle problem with Mac nibs and not
one related to standalone views.
