(1) Which window manager is this?

I actually don't know. This is a preinstalled Ubuntu system. It has a vertical doc on the left side of the screen. How do I figure this out?

(2) What does "xprop _NET_FRAME_EXTENTS" tell you when you click on
the offending window?

It says

_NET_FRAME_EXTENTS(CARDINAL) = 0, 0, 32, 0

(I think "xwininfo -wm"'s line "Frame extents"
should also be querying the same property.)

Yes, it returns the same info!

What does that mean for/in my case?
