Right now DotGNU is only used by its developers, and developed by its
users.  :-)  This situation will change eventually, and we will create
a separate "users" mailing list then.

Util then, this is the right list for asking "users" questions...

Sounds great.  Of course, being the first "real" user has its
disadvantages - you'll run into lots of inconveniences like missing
stuff in libs, no shortage of bugs, etc.  The good news are

1) That there are no unfixable problems like you get with proprietary
   software.

2) While (contributing to) fixing the problems which you encounter
   you can gain an intimate understandign of the platform.
