it is an interface to a tiny world of one hack, namely redefinition of
eepitch-preprocess-line
the big world of simple hacks can be opened by appropriate redefinition
of eepitch-preprocess-line
i called those simple hacks eepitch-preprocess-regexp,
hlavaty-eepitch-preprocess-line1 and hlavaty-eepitch-preprocess-line2
in the previous example.
at least redefining eepitch-preprocess-line is more convenient than
redefining eepitch-this-line

sure
but the point of defaults is to minimize such changes across the universe
why is it important that there are no spaces before the bullet?
is there a good reason?
if not, why is it important for you that there are no spaces before the bullet?
note, i already provided good reason why spaces before the bullet should
be allowed (indentation of email threads containing eepitch blocks)

i wish i had time for that
