Please do. :-) If you also want to apply the patch in Gnus'
repository, minor modifications in etc/Makefile.in (install,
uninstall) are necessary.

For me, both possibilities are okay. I "unified" it to
etc/images/gnus, because I though this is what you suggested in
<address@hidden>. But probably I
misunderstood.
