A picture may say more than 1000 words.
Attached you find a screenshot, with hebew text and LaTeX constructs
(which are written L2R).
The display is best, when the hebrew text and the latex text are
separated by an empty line, since then they are two paragraphs, this the
last paragraph of the screenshot: its label reads \label{eq:test:2}.
The problem occurs in the first example (\label{eq:test:3}): hebrew and
latex are not separated but the latex commands are presented, partially,
as R2L,
The second example (\label{eq:test:1) circumvents this difficulty by
adding LRM at the beginning of each latex command.
I would like to know whether there are other possibilities.
