...and of course I forgot the little anecdote: xg_event_is_for_menubar() calls gtk_widget_intersect(), which has already been removed in GTK's Git master a year ago: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/commit/bfa67371ecbcff144819618004b9f914a1431d42 Reasoning of the author: It's unused inside gtk and as far as I can see also outside of it. And it's been broken for a while now and nobody noticed. :-D PS: It would have been nice if the author had mentioned in what way it was broken...
