Yup.

Anyway, I couldn't help myself, so I implemented an input command based
on transient.el (pushed to a branch for those who are interested), but
transient.el doesn't really give us much here (creating these interfaces
on the fly), and it doesn't know how to line up stuff that's not
monospaced, so I think I'll rewrite the display bit tomorrow without
transient.el.
