From: "Francis Wright" <address@hidden> Cc: <address@hidden> Date: Sat, 16 Dec 2006 16:48:08 -0000I have now built the 22.0.91 pretest on a completely different machine and Iobserve the same problem. I suspect it may be triggered by my build environmentBtw, what is special about your build environment? could you describe it, please? I see you are using MinGW, which is what I use. But there are other parameters, like the precise version of MinGW runtime, the compiler, Binutils, etc.
According to the MinGW installed.ini file I am running the following: runtime=mingw-runtime-3.11.tar.gz w32api=w32api-3.8.tar.gz binutils=binutils-2.15.91-20040904-1.tar.gz core=gcc-core-3.4.2-20040916-1.tar.gz make=mingw32-make-3.80.0-3.tar.gzI installed MinGW very recently using the installer from sourceforge, although most of the files seem to be dated 2004, so perhaps they are not as up-to-date as I thought.
Otherwise, I am using Cygwin bash, cp, rm, etc., which should all be the latest versions. However, I initiate the build from a cmd prompt. I have the MinGW bin directory before the Cygwin bin directory in my path.
