Yes, but only on a rather obscure platform.

this bug only affects HP-UX with cc (at least, that's how I understand
the comments), and our README states that FreeSCI has only been built,
not tested, on that platform. 

The Win32 build bug (reported by Gustav Almström) is worse, in my
view.
