NOTICE: Beta 6 / current snapshot diff warning

Hello,

  this is just a little warning to inform you that there is a major difference
  between FT2 Beta 6 and the current development snapshot that might eventually
  cause you trouble if you don't notice:

   the number of gray levels used by the "smooth" renderer in beta 6 is 128,
   but has been recently raised to 256

   similarly, the "standard" renderer in beta 6 uses a 5-gray level palette
   with values from 0 to 127, while it is 0 to 255 in the current snapshot..

 Seems I'll release beta7 really soon now to avoid the confusion..
