	ImageMagick does it automatically as part of it's configure 
process - no need to do anything special.

	No, it does not!!   It's an ALMOST 100% pure copy of the FT 
code, there are a few things we (the ImageMagick team) does to that 
directory that aren't in the stock.  If you need to update it, copy 
FILES not directories!
