A bug, now fixed in git.

This I won't fix – it happens only if you enable debugging. Simply
comment out the `FT_DEBUG_LEVEL_XXX' macros:
/* #define FT_DEBUG_LEVEL_ERROR */
/* #define FT_DEBUG_LEVEL_TRACE */
