[Freetype] (no subject)

Hello All.

I have had great success with freetype so far. I have a few questions though.

1. I can display text, but for some reason it does not line up as expected. When I draw the bitmaps some alphabets such as 'n' for example floats above the baseline. My J runs into the K etc. I used  the example code in the second tutorial( kerning) but that did not do anything. Any suggestions?( I am using arial.ttf)

2. How do I set the font as bold/italic?
