Hi,
As someone who hasn't even attended their first GHM, I would find it
easier to attend both conferences if they took place simultaneously, or
ideally, just before/after each other.

Absolutely. This is the strongest reason to accept your proposal which,
let me repeat it, I *really* appreciate. And I'd also add a second
point, which somebody has raised in the past: having the GHM co-located
with another event may help some people reduce their travel expenses, or
justify them if they have a sponsor.
I understand that our discussions coldly comparing the pros and cons of
your solution that you so gracefully made available to us must feel a
little rude. I apologize for that.
