Indeed. 1.0 would be an excellent thing to do (and this would finally bring it out of alpha)! But as already said, it needs to be the most stable version of Glob2 so far. That means a complete feature freeze once Brad finishes his rewrites. The only thing being pushed to master should be bug fixes over a 1 month RC cycle in which time massive testing of all the features and clearing of all bugs in the bug tracker should take place (that is unless Brad decides to rewrite another thing, which would be good, but time consuming). We'll need all the help we can get :D

But the end result, 1.0.0, will be an awesome achievement.

As for future releases, I see it as this:

[core rewrite].[new features].[bug fixes]

So 1.0.0 would then become, after fixing any bugs left behind, 1.0.1, and the devs would work on 1.1.0  (which might include priorities and such). 2.0.0 is a long, long way off. 3-5 years or so away :P

And finally, we have a wishlist for a reason :P Some things need to be implemented eventually. The game needs to improve :P

Kieram

That is a good idea, but we should make a correct release cycle with rc
because we don't want 1.0 to be broken.
