Hi Jose,

thanks for the info on ranlib - I'll add this to the gm2 webpages and
also provide a link to Modulipse.

no plans to write this :-).  Within the source tarball of gm2 there is a
p2c translator - which I didn't write - but I have maintained it and
nudged it towards Modula-2 -> C (except/finally, interface to C and
various other features/bugfixes over the years).   I plan to keep
working on gm2 and aim to graft it onto the GCC trunk,
