If any of you guys and girls have time/and/or desire to look into or
comment on, attached is a bzr diff of changes requited to compile
libbase under Visual Studio 2008.

Bear in mind that it is currently compiled as a static lib, meaning
that there will be potentially more changes later to fix unresolved
externals when everything gets linked together. Also I am trying to
pass without using any config header file, so HAVE_CONFIG_H is not
defined and "gnashconfig.h" does not exist.

For dependencies I am currently using GnuWin32 from SourceForge for
GIFLIB, JPEG, LIBPNG and ZLIB. However, these are MingW-compiled
binaries so, even if headers are ok (everything compiles), I am not
(yet!) sure that I will be able to easily mix MingW-compiled and my
own MSVC9-compiled binaries. Yeah, at the bottom they are all PEF
Win32 files but are they all linking to the same version of MS C/C++
runtime libs? Just thinking loudly here.

Please be patient until I learn to work with Bazaar on WIndows and
re-remember using diff and pathc, but feel free to criticize and

Ok, one down, about 9 or 10 more to go :)
