FYI I switched back repository to lenny and libc6-dev install worked,
my modified /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://mir1.ovh.net/debian/ lenny main
deb-src http://mir1.ovh.net/debian/ lenny main
deb http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates main
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ lenny/updates main
Now building GCC 4.4 from SVN :).
