Hello,
currently it seems like the Yeeloong is the only Loongson based system
that is officially supported by the Gnewsense Metad distribution. However,
some of us also have the Fuloong mini (Loongson 2F version). This would be
trivial to support, as it is internally very similar to the Yeeloong. All
that is needed is different kernel.
I've compiled the linux-2.6.27.7-libre kernel for my Fuloong, this works
well together with the Gnewsense metad distribution. The differences
between the configurations is available here:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~crono/config.diff
Note that both of these configs are very different from the config shipped
with Gnewsense Metad. As such, this is not meant to be applied as a patch,
but rather to highlight the options that needs to be altered.
This would then need to be turned into a kernel package and included in the
installer.
Best,
Ferdinand
