I'd like to do it. How should I go about installing the new system ? Should I follow the procedure given here[1] or do something else which is not yet documented ?

The earlier mail I referred to [1] links to the installer [2].
I am real sorry for being vague with my response (sighs). I am very much aware that we have a installer[2]. I desire to install the new system from a USB disk, so what files should I download from here[2] in order to make my USB disk ready for installing the new system ?
The debian's page[3] on setting up a USB stick suggests that, it is required to copy the "initrd.gz" and "vmlinuz" (in our case, it is "linux" (I guess)), apart from running the "syslinux" & mbr-install commands on the USB partition & the USB disk respectively, for making the USB ready for installing the new system. Period. I wish to know whether this procedure holds true for gNewSense 3.0 alpha installer ? If not, how do I get the USB ready for installing the new system ?
Thanks a lot. [1]: http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/gnewsense-dev/2012-06/msg00002.htm [2]: http://beta.gnewsense.org/gnewsense-three/installer/3.0-alpha1/ [3]: http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/ch04s03.html -- rsiddharth http://rsiddharth.ninth.su/
