There's an error in the Makefile, it does not search include files
in /usr/local/include.

If you want you can try the proposed port upgrade I talked about in a
previous messages, diffs in the PR ports/54498, I hope it will get
committed soon. (there's an error in those diffsa, before using them
remove the lines starting with @${ECHO}).

This port has a know(WITH_SMSD) to enable building and installing
smsd...but the program is not woorking correctly for me :(
