Ug.  I'd rather see something like this:

directory bla/baz {
  junk '\.lo'
  unrecognized '\.c'

directory foo {
  junk '^(test-foo|test-bar)$'

The syntax here being irrelevant; the important part is that we still
only match each regexp against a base file name, not pathname.
