And I see a lot of value in answering the question "what is the difference between TREE and VERSION-LATEST" also.

tla delta . archive/c--b--v

Actually, that doesn't work because delta doesn't accept version arguments:
$ tla delta --diffs . engine--builds--7.6.4
Error during call to `vu_chdir' for engine--builds--7.6.4 (No such file or directory)
PANIC: I/O error

I'm a little scared of adding more argument types to delta, because then you'll never know what you're getting. Already, there's a chance for confusion because "tla get" outputs directories with revision names; does engine--builds--7.6.4--patch-3 refer to a revision, or to ./engine--builds--7.6.4--patch-3?
