Yeah, I had a look at that, too, in my search for the post you referred to.
I've read it again now, but I don't see much to comment on. AFAICS the only
thing you say about metadata is that 1) you think no metadata attribute
should be mandatory, and 2) you think EAs should be used (if available). I
disagree with the first point (not very strongly, though), and agree with
the second one. Was these points what you were referring to?
