the gui is not just a pretty design; it is an ergonomic work system which richard has developed over years.
No doubt. The main sentiment was, however, that 0.1 does
neither need to nor can feature the full-blown beauty of his
design.

There surely is no doubt that all contributions by non-coders
are very welcome.
I think the problems are that the Grid like organization of the
various entry forms is only aesthetically pleasing to some people,
might have usability problems if one wanted to spend more than
20 seconds making a note entry, and maybe a little worry that
some very well thought out features of the schema will
get hidden by a gui designed with not much separation
between conceptual schema and one the specific
use case of the gui. The oz usefulness of the gui also might
make it not very useful in another locality.
On the other hand, it is a very streamlined gui for data entry
and created in response to a real use case and user working
environment, so if it were to be connected, its usability might become more evident.
Q. is usability a matter of taste?
