Tag for public release.

Chris Kuethe (3):
      Changes to read() error handling.
Well, this doesn't make things any worse for me...
Small patch to cgps.c to fix/change a few things.

Eric S. Raymond (37):
      Typo fix.
Oops. We don't actually have port 2101 service.
      Fix some links.
Prevent core dump on -d option.
In cgps, show the O commands up from the server.
Put cgps I/O in windows so we can box them, add scrolling for O messages.
Eliminate screen flash on first update.
Only draw the invariant parts once.
      Warning and splint cleanup.
Minor optimization using internal statics, thanks to Remco for the
      More optimization tweaks and cleanup.
Avoid emitting NANs in Q output.
Subtle change in how devices and the nowait option are handled.
Allocation policy is a pedicate now.
The old hypothetical -p option is the new actual -s option.
Improved logging messages (no logic changes).
      splint cleanup and cosmetic fixes.
Make work even if the version of automake is older, e.g.
xgps now has the -l option as well as cgps. Document it.
Add at least minimal documentation for -s.
      Sanity check...
Catch a socket error sometimes triggered by interrupting the script.
First checkin of sync-deferral code, but it's conditioned out.
A step towards getting rid of the rather bogus "of" probe in
      Instrumentation improvements.
This version of defer-on-sync works, but it's an awful crock.
      Simplify a test.
      Add explanatory comment.
      Another step towards defer-on-sync.
      Another step towards defer-on-sync.
Sneaking up on inlining the F code. Something weird is going on here.
Finally, get rid of the extra handle_gpsd_request().
We now pass all regression tests with a test frame...
Some of the instrumentation is less efficient now.
Small correction in case packet_pushback is ever actuallly used.
Defer-on-sync isn't going to work, alas.
Omplement 'G' command and bump version for release.

Gary E. Miller (6):
Geez, I stop using a var last night and already people complain about the
unused parm. :-)
Add new deg_to_str() function to libgps.
      Add -l option to cgps. -l d is DD.dddddd, -l m is DD MM.mmmm' and -l s is
DD MM' SS.sss". Also tweak deg_to_str().
Apply Lonnie Mendez patches to fix my gpsd mistakes.
This improves the gpsfake error messsages when failing to open a log file.
Jeff Francis's patch to gpspipe to add serial output.
