You really should call it rc0; 48h from (any!) code change to a release
is crazy fast.  Not everyone who could run tests can do so in a
no-notice 48h window.  The gpsd release process always feels really
rushed, after a flurry of changes, when a 1-2 week testing period - with
bug fixes to problems found in testing only - would lead to
better releases with no real downsides.
