hold on... here's the latest.

results for ntpq -p

gpsmon works and shows NMEA data is flowing.
gpsmon sometimes hooks up to /dev/gpsd0 but I sometimes see it trying to hook 
up to the localhost address, the TCP socket I think.

gpsmon is showing a small time offset, but no indication on PPS.

cgps does not work.
cgps is showing "NOFIX" on the left side and a list of satellites on the right 
side.

and cat /dev/gpsd0 does not work either.
I also tried cat /dev/ttyAMA0 - that shows no data.

npshmmon gives this
