This:

        Loading texinfo [version 1999-09-25.10]

You should update to a more recent texinfo.tex.  Or maybe is it the
distro of Flex that ships that guys.  Replace it with
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/texinfo/texinfo.tex.
