Hello Andrew, for "0;" csv needs only two bytes. A double in C needs 8 bytes. Add pointers in linked lists, memory for building the constraints in GMPL, memory for the model in the GLPK library, and so forth. Yes reading the model into GMPL will need a whole lot more memory than your CSV file. GLPK runs fine on 64bit. So you might just try on a bigger machine. Given 200 Mb of raw data you may have to write a program that directly calls the GLPK library.
