Why 2?
> (write-region "astring" "file2" APPEND)
You forgot the END argument.
> (write-region "astring" "file2" )
Same here.
> (write-region "astring" 2 "file2" )
Again, why 2?
I use (write-region "foo" nil "/tmp/toto") and it works dandy.
