I think it would be great if there was an editor-agnostic collaboration 
protocol that used IRC maybe via CTCP. I know Emacs divides buffer changes into 
chunks somehow to make undo more intuitive. Maybe these could be sent as diffs 
and instantly applied to collaborators' buffers.
