It was simply to think about it when people are doing work on the manual.
It is more about "An Introduction to Programming in Emacs Lisp". And perhaps
something at intermediate level when people got time.  Have been looking
at making a small elisp package to learn but still keep commands at a basic
level.  Then build from there.  And because I would be the author, I will
see how it is to be in your situation with respect to manuals.  I have written
very long works myself.

I can start with my group and see how they get along with it.  Would be good
to make a tutorial about it.
