M-x irc works so fine.
When was last time you tried it out?
And I use XMPP chat, jabber.el all day and manage teams in few
countries with it.

For now it just works, it pass so far 100% of websites asking for
passwords and in connection with RCD Notes, passwords are stored in
the database. It looks like this:
