That looks a lot like what happens with Scribus
<>, for which a solution is being discussed at

Can you try something like:

  guix package -i address@hidden
  export PATH=$HOME/.guix-profile/bin:$PATH


This should force kodi to run ‘python’ from Guix rather than from the
host distro.
