Subject: | [zile-devel] Feedback on 2.0-a1? |
Date: | Sun, 14 Nov 2004 01:06:59 +0100 (CET) |
As a side note, I have also tagged the CVS tree at the point of the release.
Has anyone tried 2.0-a1? Any problems to report? Please tell me or file bugs if you've found any problems. So far I've had no reports, and had no problems myself other than the bugs I've filed. If there are no further reports I propose to make a beta release on 1st December. It will hopefully include the EPOC terminal (which is partly working), but if not then that back-end will be explicitly marked as alpha quality when the 2.0 final release ships (or disabled if I don't have time to get it working).
I propose to release 2.0 on 1st January (or possibly shortly after!) if the beta release proceeds as smoothly as the alpha release seems to have.
David, have you tested the allegro back-end in 2.0-a1? Feedback on that would be particularly welcome. I should really try building it myself...but anyway, I have not yet tested it at all (though I have tried to keep the code up to date with my API changes).
