Could you elaborate on that? How can I reproduce non-working 'make
clean'?
I am not sure if the problem still exists. For a number of years it
was not possible since the Makefiles in the test subdirectories were
broken or did not exist. Or perhaps the problem was lmited to 'make
distclean'.
'make distclean' is most important and it is still failing:
`/scratch/bfriesen/build/libtool-head/tests/mdemo'
Making distclean in tests/fcdemo
/home/bfriesen/build/libtool-head/tests/fcdemo
gmake[1]: Entering directory
`/scratch/bfriesen/build/libtool-head/tests/fcdemo'
gmake[1]: *** No rule to make target `distclean'. Stop.
