Are you saying that it won't work for people that didn't install apple X11?

IIRC, it should just work if you dump 10.3's libexpat.1.dylib into 
Resources/lib/ . Can you verify (I can send you the dylib via private 
email if necessary)? I'll see what happens if I rebuild against my own 
compile of expat.

Yup. Should be possible, although I'm not sure that I should be the 
person building this.
