Hi Jan,

If RMS hadn't tied all those lisp scripts to an editor, I'd be
running them every day.  :P   Seriously, editor-specific really
useful scripts was a *huge* mistake.

(does anybody know of a lightweight
"process-text-file-with-emacs-script foo" program?)

Anyway, somebody with git knowledge should grab (cherry-pick?)
f5cd9ee44f5304f6358e40d6ad7e250607bea1de from web-gop/ and apply
it to web/


(another way to avoid these mistakes is to use a human-readable
and parser-checked format like texinfo, rather than HTML directly
